Avail™ QT14 QuickTwist Glovebag

15 bags per carton

The Quick-Twist glovebag debris chamber makes it easy for workers to securely and safely separate the debris area from the work area of the glovebag. The QT design incorporates a narrow and tall waste area so that less bunching is required when fixing the bag to the pipe.

The AVAIL QuickTwist glovebag incorporates all the safety and labor saving features of other AVAIL glovebags, with the additional benefit of a unique debris chamber design that makes it more efficient and safer for workers. The QT glovebag features a larger, more narrow and tall, debris chamber than a standard glovebag so less bunching is required when attaching the bag to a pipe which results in fewer bags required to remove the same amount of asbestos. Fewer bags mean less material and labor and fewer opportunities for worker exposure. QT glovebags are all packaged on a roll in an extended run configuration.

When larger diameters of pipe are encountered, the AVAIL QT14 asbestos glovebag is the next choice. It safely encloses pipe diameters from 10″ to 14″ and allows up to 60″ of work area.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do glove bag systems help contain asbestos?

Glove bags create an enclosed workspace around the asbestos material, using built-in gloves and sealed access points to contain fibres and prevent airborne contamination during removal.

Are glove bags reusable?

No, glove bags are designed for single-use to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the highest level of safety during each removal task.

What materials are glove bags made from?

They are made from durable, transparent polyethylene, which allows for clear visibility while providing a strong barrier against hazardous fibres. High clarity virgin polyethylene ensures strong seals, excellent puncture resistance, and clear view of the work area.

What sizes are available for glove bag systems?

Glove bags are available in several different sizes to accommodate various pipe diameters from 1-30 inches, for horizontal and vertical pipes. Check product specifications or contact us for guidance on the right size for your project.

Do glove bags comply with Australian asbestos regulations?

Yes, the glove bag systems are an approved method of removal under the code of practice.

What is the difference between extended run and quick twist glovebags?

The Quick-Twist glovebag debris chamber makes it easy for workers to securely and safely separate the debris area from the work area of the glovebag. The QT design incorporates a narrow and tall waste area so that less bunching is required when fixing the bag to the pipe.

Avail Extended-run glovebags, or EXTs, dramatically increase productivity and safety by eliminating multiple bag set-up labor and reducing job site fiber counts. The extended-run design is more efficient because EXTs can enclose a much larger work area in one operation than a single bag will allow.

Why should I choose the Avail Glove Bag over alternatives

ILC Dover AVAIL glovebags have the reputation of being the highest performing, easiest to use, and safest method for asbestos removal from pipe. More professionals choose AVAIL glovebags than any other brand in the market today, removing millions of linear feet of pipe insulation a year.
